Regulations

1. General Provisions

1.1 The “Sapere” International Bodywork Conference will be held at the Japanese art and culture museum Manggha, at Marii Konopnickiej  street 26  in Cracow, on 25-27 May 2019r.

1.2 The Conference is organized by the Nowa Psychologia s.c. based in Krakow at ul. Retoryka 17/1.

The following terms used in these Rules shall mean:

Organizer: Nowa Psychologia s.c. based in Krakow at ul. Retoryka 17/1.

Participant: person who has registered and bought a ticket to the Conference, sent an application form and made a payment to the designated account.
Conference: The International Bodywork Conference “SAPERE”.

1.3 The organizer reserves the right to make changes in the program and the rules of the Conference and undertakes to publish updated information on the website.

1.4 The organizer has the right to cancel the event without prior notice due to reasons for which they are not liable, to change the date, place and agenda of the Conference for reasons of chance, i.e. announcement of national mourning, illness, indisposition or other objective reason preventing
the organization of the Conference remaining outside the responsibility of organizers.
In the case of cancellation of the Conference, a ticket holder shall have the rights provided by law.

1.5 Due to the nature of the event, the Organizer does not provide any insurance (including insurance against accidents). Participants may purchase insurance on their own. The Organizer of the Conference is not responsible for any random events, resulting in loss of life or health.

1.6 The conference is addressed to psychologists, therapists, doctors, athletes and those seeking alternative treatments.

1.7 The Conference may be attended by adults only.

1.8 The provisions of these Rules are an integral part of the Application for participation in the Conference and binding to all Participants.

2. Rules of participation in the Conference

2.1. Participation in the Conference requires:

Notification of participation in the Conference by filling out the form, acceptance of the Rules and buying a ticket on the website www.konferencjapracyzciałem.pl. The fee for the ticket must be paid to the bank account number given in the reservation system within 3 days of filling out and submitting the form

After posting the funds in the Organizer’s account, you will be sent your personal ticket to the e-mail address you had given in the application form. You must print the ticket and take it with you to the Conference
2.2 The organizer will issue an invoice for the payment made on the request of the Participant, expressed in the application form (please tick the appropriate option and enter your invoice data). At the request of the Participant, an invoice can be sent by e-mail or will be prepared for collection on the day of the Conference.

Not filling out the invoice data will result in non-issuance of an invoice.

2.3 Each participant will receive a certificate of participation in the Conference.

3. Complaints

3.1. A Conference Participant who had registered and purchased a ticket has the right to withdraw from participation in the Conference for any reason, and is obliged to communicate about this fact to the Conference Organizer in advance. Such information should be sent by e-mail: kontkat@konferencjapracyzcialem.pl before May 2, 2019. After this date no refund of payment for the purchased ticket shall apply.
3.2 Any complaints by Conference Participants to the Organiser should be submitted in writing by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the address of the Organizer.

3.3 Complaints by Conference Participants may be submitted in writing no later than 3 days from the end of the Conference. After the expiry of said date, no complaints shall be considered.

4. Rights and Obligations of the Participant

4.1 All persons residing in the Manggha Museum, participating in the Conference are not allowed to bring in and use any dangerous objects, as well as take measures that could pose a danger to other persons, and in particular:

a.) Alcohol and drugs;
b.) Flammable, toxic and radioactive chemicals;
c.) Any weapons, explosives and pyrotechnics;
d.) Means of personal defense such as pepper spray, electric stun guns, police batons and expandable batons;
4.2 Participants are obliged to take care of the cleanliness and order in the Manggha Museum;

4.3 Damaging the property in the venue of the conference i forbidden.

4.4 Participants bear the full financial responsibility for the destruction they do on the premises, where all activities related to the Conference are carried out.
4.5 The venue of the Conference is a strictly non-smoking area.
4.6 Consuming alcohol or other drugs at the Conference venue is not allowed. Those who are under the influence shall not be permitted entry to the Conference.
4.7 The organizer has the right to remove anyone violating the provisions of the Rules from the area of the Conference. Such people are not entitled to reimbursement of the ticket cost.
4.8 Security workers have the right to check the participants’ belongings in order to prevent undesired incidents of non-compliance with the provisions of the Rules.
4.9 The organizer is not responsible for the things the Participants leave unattended.

5. Final Provisions

5.1 If the conference does not take place for reasons attributable solely to the Organizer, the Organizer shall promptly refund the amounts paid by the participants indicated by their bank accounts.

5.2 If the conference does not take place due to reasons beyond the control of the Organizer, the so-called “force majeure”, the Participant shall not be entitled to compensation or refund of any fees associated with participation in the Conference, as well as the cost of additional services ordered by the participants of the Conference.

5.3 The conference shall be recorded by the Organizer through audiovisual and photographic record. The course of the Conference shall be filmed and photographed.

5.4. Registration of participation and participation in the Conference is tantamount to the Participant’s permission to use their image for recordings and photos, and an expression of the Participant’s consent for commercial distribution. These arrangements are related to the case, where a participant is filmed or photographed while participating in the Conference close to the lecturer, or when a participant voluntarily agrees to be interviewed on camera or poses for photos. The Participant agrees to: recording their voice, recording themselves, placing photos and footage (in whole or in part) containing their image recorded during the participation in the Conference.

5.5 Any disputes that may arise from participation in the Conference shall be settled by a court competent for the seat of the Organizer.

5.6 Sending a registration form which is available at the Conference website constitutes acceptance of these Rules, as well as compliance with the order and any other arrangements made between the Participant and the Organizer.

5.7 Matters not covered by these Rules shall be governed by the Civil Code.

5.8 According to the Law on Personal Data Protection dated 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws 133 of 29 October 1997, item 833) The Organizer of the Conference does not give, sell or lend the Participants’ personal data to other persons or institutions. Personal data provided by the Participant shall be treated as confidential and used only for the purpose of communication between the Participant and Organizer of the Conference. The conference is closed and not a mass event within the meaning of the Act of 23 March 2009 on safety of mass events (Journal of Laws of 2009 No. 62, item 504).

5.9 The Organizer is not responsible for the participants’ belongings, which can be lost, damaged or stolen during the Conference.

5.10 Participants bear the full financial responsibility for the destruction they do both on the premises, where all activities related to the Conference are carried out, as well as in places of accommodation.

5.11. The organizer has the right to change the provisions of the Rules. Changes shall enter into force within seven days from the day they are published at https://www.konferencjapracyzciałem.pl

5.12. These Rules shall enter into force upon publication on the conference website.
